Don’t let your app mislead you! The improved Fitatu AI 3.0 Goji represents an even higher level of accuracy compared to the previous 2.0 Acai version, which ranked 1st in terms of result accuracy in Kantar research. This means that Fitatu most often provides the result closest to the actual calorie value compared to the competition¹.
Fitatu®’s “AI calorie estimation from a photo” is ahead of the competition for several reasons.
First of all, it uses the Fitatu® product and dish database, which is regularly verified by our dietitians. This keeps the risk of errors minimal compared to other apps.
Additionally, the results include not only calories, but also macronutrients and the full list of dish ingredients, which you can edit and adjust by weight. This means you know what AI recognized in the photo and which ingredients it took into account during estimation. If something does not match, you can use the “Specify” feature, which allows you to add notes and a description to the photo. All of this ensures the most accurate results.
At the bottom of the results, you will find a description of what AI sees. This lets you understand how the app “thinks” and how it arrives at the result – you can check whether what it sees matches reality. Our feature hides nothing and is fully transparent compared to the competition.
You can learn how to take photos to make the estimation as precise as possible here.
