How does “Menu Selection” work?

Menu Selection is a feature in Fitatu® Premium and Fitatu® Premium+AI that lets you create your meal plan based on your chosen diet type. You can choose from 6 menu plans: Balance, Gluten-free, Keto, Less Sugar, Vege, and High-Protein. Each plan comes with recipes matched to your energy needs, with the option to choose specific calorie ranges.

The key advantage is flexibility - you decide which dishes to add to your diary and when to eat them. Recipes include full calorie and macro information, but you can still add your own meals and products.

Note that this feature isn’t a ready-made diet - it doesn’t assign strict meals. Instead, it offers suggestions within a calorie range (with a ±100 kcal buffer), leaving you free to choose and adjust to your daily needs.

Each menu has its own focus:

  • Balance - meals made from nutritious, wholesome foods. Diverse, simple, and tasty. Benefits: better metabolism, more vitality, improved overall health.
  • Less Sugar - excludes white sugar (e.g. sugar, jam, chocolate) and focuses on natural sugars from fruits and vegetables. Benefits: healthier teeth and skin, cancer prevention, stronger body.
  • Vege - plant-based eating for a balanced, nutritious diet that’s also planet-friendly. Benefits: lower calorie meals, reduced cholesterol, improved well-being.
  • Gluten-free - for people with celiac disease, allergies, intolerances, or autoimmune conditions. Excludes gluten-containing foods. Look for products marked with the crossed-grain symbol. Benefits: more vitality, better health.
  • Keto - limits carbs almost completely without giving up tasty, balanced meals. Benefits: improved metabolism, better energy levels.
  • High-Protein - protein-rich recipes combined with a good workout plan help build muscle mass, sculpt your body, and strengthen your system. Benefits: boosts metabolism, strengthens the body.

Note! Starting Menu Selection does not automatically change your calorie or macro goals. If you choose High-Protein or Keto, you’ll need to adjust your protein, fat, and carb targets yourself.
