How to make Salad with Smoked Mackerel, Broad Beans and Cherry Tomatoes

  1. 1. Cook the broad beans in salted water until soft, then drain and peel them.

  2. 2. Halve the olives and cherry tomatoes, and slice the onion into thin wedges.

  3. 3. Prepare the dressing: mix linseed oil and mustard in a small bowl or glass.

  4. 4. Toast the pine nuts in a dry pan.

  5. 5. Arrange the spinach, tomatoes, onion, broad beans, olives and mackerel pieces on a plate or in a bowl.

  6. 6. Drizzle with dressing and sprinkle with pine nuts.
