How to make Lazy Dumplings with Toasted Breadcrumbs and Fresh Fruits

  1. 1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whisk the egg whites in a metal or glass bowl with erythritol until stiff peaks form.

  2. 2. In a separate bowl or food processor, mix the cottage cheese with the egg yolk on low speed.

  3. 3. Add the whipped egg whites and flour to the cheese mixture and gently combine until smooth.

  4. 4. Sprinkle a board with flour and place the dough on it. Shape the dough into a roll and cut it into 2-3 cm pieces.

  5. 5. Drop the dumplings into boiling salted water and cook for about 30 seconds after the water starts boiling again.

  6. 6. In a dry pan, lightly toast the breadcrumbs, then add butter. Stir until the butter melts. Continue frying for a short time on low heat to avoid burning.

  7. 7. Wash and dry the fruits. Remove the stems from the strawberries and cut them into quarters.

  8. 8. Serve the dumplings with the toasted breadcrumbs and melted butter, topped with fresh fruits.
