  • Tomato passata30 g
  • Sweetcorn, canned or frozen2× tablespoon (30 g)
  • Water1× tablespoon (10 ml)
  • Baking powder1× teaspoon (4 g)
  • Oregano, dried, ground1× teaspoon (3 g)
  • Gyros seasoning2× pinch (2 g)
  • Salt2× pinch (1 g)

How to make Mexican Skyr Pizza with Minced Beef, Beans, and Cheddar

  1. 1. Fry the minced beef in olive oil with the gyros seasoning. Towards the end of cooking, add the drained beans and corn to the pan and mix well. Grate the Cheddar cheese.

  2. 2. In a bowl, combine the flour (save one tablespoon), skyr, salt, and baking powder to form a dough ball. Roll out the dough, dusting with the remaining flour.

  3. 3. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4. Mix the tomato paste with water and spread it over the dough.

  5. 5. On the dough covered with tomato paste, place the beef with beans and corn, then sprinkle with the grated Cheddar cheese.

  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes. If a bubble forms while baking, pop it.

  7. 7. After removing from the oven, sprinkle the pizza with oregano.
