How to make Keto toasts with chanterelles in butter and cheddar cheese

  1. 1. Clean the chanterelles from any dirt, then chop them into smaller pieces.

  2. 2. Dice the shallot and chop the chives.

  3. 3. In a pan, melt the butter and then add the shallot and chives; sauté for about 2 minutes before adding the chanterelles and black pepper. Fry for about 10 minutes until the mushrooms are cooked.

  4. 4. Heat the bread in a dry pan or a toaster.

  5. 5. On a plate, place the bread, then the cheese, and top with the mushroom filling. Any mushrooms that don't fit on the toast can be placed next to the toasts.
