  • Liver chicken200 g
  • Redcurrants0.5× cup (60 g)
  • Lettuce10× leaf (50 g)
  • Bacon rashers streaky2× slice (50 g)
  • Walnuts1× handful (30 g)
  • Red onion1× piece (25 g)
  • Olive oil2× tablespoon (20 g)
  • Balsamic vinegar6 ml
  • Salt4× pinch (2 g)
  • Pepper, black1× pinch (1 g)

How to make Keto liver and bacon salad with currants and walnuts

  1. 1. Fry the bacon in a dry pan until crisp.

  2. 2. Wash and dry the liver, then remove the tendons. Heat up the pan used for frying the bacon, then add the liver and fry until brown (around 5 min on each side).

  3. 3. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the onion cut into feathers. Once it softens, add the balsamic vinegar and season lightly with salt.

  4. 4. Arrange the lamb’s lettuce, liver and bacon on a plate, then add the onion along with the entire sauce. Sprinkle everything with redcurrants.

  5. 5. Roast the walnuts in a dry pan then add them to the rest.
