How to make Shakshuka with chorizo and mushrooms

  1. 1. Chop the garlic, parsley and onions, then fry them in oil.

  2. 2. Slice the chorizo. Wash the mushrooms, cut them in half, then slice them. Add the mushrooms and the chorizo to the pan with the onion, garlic and parsley, and fry.

  3. 3. Pour the tinned tomatoes over everything and fry for a further 5 min or so. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4. Crack the eggs into the pan, cover and reduce the heat. Stew it all until the egg whites set, but the yolk remains runny.
