How to make Pork chop with mushrooms in cheese and tomato sauce

  1. 1. Finely chop the tomatoes, mix together with the olive oil, grated parmesan, chopped basil and a pinch of salt and ground chilli pepper. Warm up on a low heat

  2. 2. Cut the chop into portions and tenderise each of them (to a height of about half a centimetre), season with salt and pepper. Set aside for a moment

  3. 3. Meanwhile, wash the mushrooms and fry them in half of the clarified butter. Season with salt and pepper, add half of the mozzarella and stir until the cheese is completely melted. Set the filling aside

  4. 4. Fry the chops in the remaining clarified butter on a high heat, until they are brown on both sides.

  5. 5. Heat the oven to 170C

  6. 6. Put the meat into the tomato sauce for a few minutes, then lay them out in a baking tray. Place part of the filling on each piece of meat and cover with the remaining mozzarella. Roast in an oven until the cheese turns brown (several minutes)

  7. 7. Serve the chops with the tomato sauce
