How to make Shakshuka with tomatoes and ham

  1. 1. Chop and dice the ham and tomatoes.

  2. 2. Put the prepared vegetables and ham in hot oil and fry for a few minutes until brown.

  3. 3. Once the vegetables are soft, beat in the egg, cover and wait for the white to set (the yolk should remain runny or semi-liquid as preferred).

  4. 4. Sprinkle the finished shakshuka with chives and, optionally, a portion of fresh herbs such as coriander, then season with chilli, salt and pepper.

  5. 5. Eat with bread.
