How to make Warm caprese sandwich

  1. 1. Toast the sandwich in a toaster or oven until brown and crisp.

  2. 2. Meanwhile slice the tomatoes and mozzarella.

  3. 3. Butter the prepared slices of bread. Place the lettuce then mozzarella on one, then drizzle with balsamic vinegar and finally put the tomato on top.

  4. 4. Then spread mayonnaise on the tomato, season with salt and pepper, and place the basil on it.

  5. 5. Cover all the ingredients with the second slice of bread, slice the sandwich in half and skewer each half with a cocktail stick to hold them together.
