How to make Spaghetti Carbonara

  1. 1. Boil the pasta al dente in salted water. Before draining it, set aside one ladle of the water it boiled in. Blanch the egg with boiling water, break it into a deep plate, add salt and beat it with a fork.

  2. 2. Place the diced bacon in a pan and fry it on a low heat for a few minutes until slightly brown. Add the chopped parsley and fry for another 10-20 seconds.

  3. 3. Keeping the pan on a low heat, add the pasta and stir. Remove from the heat, add half of the cheese, 5 tbs of water from the pasta, and season with freshly ground pepper.

  4. 4. Pour the beaten eggs overt the pasta and stir in. The eggs must not set completely, they should form a creamy sauce and only thicken from the hot pasta.

  5. 5. Place on plates and garnish with the remaining cheese.
