How to make French toast with mushrooms

  1. 1. Mix the egg with a tablespoon of milk, add salt and pepper.

  2. 2. Peel and slice the mushrooms. Then put them in a pan with 1 teaspoon of heated olive oil.

  3. 3. Fry on a high heat for around 3 minutes until they brown slightly. Set aside.

  4. 4. Dip the slices of bread in the egg mass on both sides, squeezing them slightly so that the absorb as much as possible.

  5. 5. Fry the toast on a medium heat in a pan with butter until it turns brown, then turn the pieces over and place a slice of cheese and slices of mushroom on them.

  6. 6. Sprinkle thyme on the toast when ready.
