  • Prawns2× cup (200 g)
  • Pineapple1.5× slice (120 g)
  • Brown rice7× tablespoon (105 g)
  • Limes100 g
  • Olive oil2× tablespoon (20 g)
  • Garlic1× clove (5 g)
  • Ground Hot Paprika0.25× teaspoon (2.5 g)
  • Coriander leaves, dried1× pinch (2 g)
  • Cumin1× pinch (1 g)
  • Pepper, black1× pinch (1 g)
  • Salt1× pinch (0.5 g)

How to make Prawns with pineapple

  1. 1. Boil the rice.

  2. 2. Rinse and thoroughly dry the prawns.

  3. 3. Heat up the oil, add the prawns and fry for about a minute on each side. Add very finely chopped garlic, season with ground chilli and cumin, stir. Add the diced pineapple and fry for about a minute, stirring frequently.

  4. 4. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Pour on the juice of half a lime, and reduce on a higher heat.

  5. 5. Sprinkle with coriander, serve with rice and pieces of the remaining lime.

    IBS-I(& my husband) cannot have hot spices or pepper/onions,- otherwise, it looks tasty, so we will give it a modified try.
