How to make Panzanella - Italian bread salad

  1. 1. Cut the bread into thick chunks and toast until golden.

  2. 2. Sprinkle with water and vinegar (optional) and lay out on the bottom of the bowl.

  3. 3. Slice the cucumber and dice the tomato, then add to the bread.

  4. 4. Add the chopped olives and basil.

  5. 5. Chop the onion and salt it in a separate bowl, then optionally sprinkle with vinegar.

  6. 6. Put it in the bowl and sprinkle with olive oil.
